Marathon Training Weeks 7&8

The last two weeks of training have literally been amazing — I’m so proud of how they went.  At the behest of both my coaches {of course, I have two} I’m going to start to take it easier on my days per week but keep up the intensity.

Week 7: 28 miles


I think my birthday, along with half marathon being over really inspired me to nail the every single workout.  I also bought an old fashioned training journal and I love the satisfaction of writing in the journal Planned and EXECUTED.

Week 8:  37 miles {!!}

This week I nailed every, single workout.  Part of the reason was I was able to get to both team workouts including the Sunday long run {as in 20 miles!!} and I hit yoga!

I’m intereted to see how these next two weeks net out. I’m added strength and will continue with yoga!  Win!
